 Many Americans live half their lives before finding their niche in life. That is my story as well. After a 20-year career in the Navy with active duty in the Korean War and Vietnam conflict, I worked as a consultant to the Navy, owned a service station/auto repair shop, and ran a bus service. After completing college at the advanced age of 47, I became a staff Accountant with one major and two smaller, family owned corporations. Then I discovered real estate and found a home at last, in the literal as well as the figurative sense. I suppose if I've acquired anything from my years in the working world it is my talent for innovation. It is rare when a problem arises that I don't have some past experience to fall back on which can be tailored to meet the current exigency. Every problem contains the opportunity to grow and excel. I turned 76 in January, 2008, and I'm finding that seniors are a growing part of our market in Northeast Georgia and around Lake Sidney Lanier. The combination of nineteen years in the profession plus my own advancing age allows me the special sensitivity needed to address the senior market in this region blessed with more than its share of natural beauty… my little corner of Heaven.
